Outdoor Event Terms & Conditions

Welcome to our event! We prioritize the health and safety of all participants. By attending, you acknowledge and accept the following responsibilities and liabilities:

  1. Personal Responsibility: Each participant is responsible for their own health and safety. Please exercise caution as you navigate the natural setting, which includes inherent risks and dangers. We are not liable for injuries resulting from natural objects or conditions, such as:

    • Falling tree branches

    • Slipping on wet leaves

    • Snake bites

    • Poison oak

  2. Property Damage: Kerkmann Hood Coaching is not responsible for any damage to clothing or personal items caused by the natural conditions of the land.

  3. Parking: Please park only in designated areas. Participants are responsible for any accidents or damage caused by improper driving.

  4. Sobriety: All participants must enter the premises sober. The use of alcohol, THC, or other drugs is not permitted.

  5. Attendance and Refunds: We do not offer refunds for participants who do not show up or arrive late. If you arrive late, we reserve the right to refuse admission without a refund.

  6. Personal Limits and Consent: Participants are responsible for expressing their personal limits, boundaries, and capabilities regarding health and emotional well-being. We practice consent, and you are free to leave or withdraw from any activity at any time. For example, in the sauna, you may exit if you feel too hot, dizzy, or unwell.

  7. Health Disclosure: Participants must disclose any medical or health conditions that could affect their participation in activities. For example, if you are pregnant, you must inform us before participating in the sauna.

  8. Use of Facilities: The use of the sauna and any provided elements (e.g., creek bathing, gathering areas) is at your own risk. Please follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by facilitators.

  9. Emergency Preparedness: Participants should be aware of their surroundings and have a plan for emergencies. Please familiarize yourself with the nearest exits and emergency procedures.

  10. Wildlife Awareness: Be aware of the presence of wildlife in the area, and understand that encounters with animals such as snakes or insects can occur.

  11. Assumption of Risk: By participating in our event, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the inherent risks associated with outdoor activities and the natural environment.

  12. Cancellation and Refunds: Please note that our events are limited to a small number of participants, and the loss of a spot significantly impacts us. Therefore, all booked tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. In certain cases, we may be able to fill your spot with another participant, and in such cases, your ticket may be transferred. Additionally, if you are unable to attend, you are allowed to sell or transfer your ticket to a friend.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We look forward to a safe and enriching experience together!
